We really enjoyed our stay at Wilderness Edge! We stayed 5 nights in the fall during the week. It was very quiet except for the owls! šŸ˜€ The staff was very friendly. The utilities worked well and the laundry room was a blessing to have. It was close to town and to Baxter State Park. The sites were nicely wooded and well-spaced.

We didnā€™t really like the ā€œno refundsā€ policy as we ran into trouble with Hurricane Lee messing with our travel plans. Thank God we purchased the insurance and we were able to change our dates. It ended up working out, and we were glad not to lose $$$$.

Our campsite was not level and unlike the picture online. Maybe the pics could be updated? We were able to level with 3 blocks, so that worked out. Most of the other sites seemed level. The roads were very bumpy (good and bad) and many times we found it difficult to determine what was road and what was campsite.

Overall, a nice camping area. There were a couple of small issues that ended up working out.
