This is not the place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing retreat!!!

Stayed in one of their "adults only" cabins which in and of itself was nice and pleasant. They advertise it as a quiet serene retreat. Turns out - it's really NOT. Your direct neighbors are not screaming children, but there are screaming children all day and night from about 8 AM to 8 PM all around you staying at the tent/RV sites. As in, yelling, shrieking, crying, and sometimes literally screaming children. There were staff around, but they seemed to regard that all as normal. In addition to that, there was some kind of mower going for hours during the day Saturday when I was there, plus the staff is often driving around in some kind of slow-moving vehicle that makes a lot of noise. Needless to say, it was not actually that relaxing. I can't imagine coming here as a couple looking for some alone time, what a horrible experience that would be.

I'll also mention the adults-only sections were not segregated in terms of bathrooms at all and those were pretty dire. They did clean the bathrooms daily, but they'd pretty quickly get a ton of mud on the floor and tended to be stuffy and smell bad. At least the accessible restrooms tended to have the doors left open so they didn't smell as bad.

In and of itself the place is pretty nice but unfortunately, you're staying in a place surrounded by other cheaper tent sites where people and their large hordes of 5-12 year olds are staying, so it's really not relaxing at all. I was very glad to leave when I did. Maybe off-season it would be better but as it is I can't recommend it for anyone who doesn't themselves have a small and loud child.
