We were actually not even planning on stopping here on our way up US1, but the reviews looked interesting. We ended up camping here for a week. Some of the most stunning views we’ve seen almost anywhere. Very quiet peaceful and serene. The only negative I can come up with is there is very little hiking here and access to the water areas is a little challenging. But it’s a great area of the country and you can sit by the shore and watch the water for hours.
