This is a unique and relaxing place to visit, especially for outdoors-loving families with children.

We took a weekend camping trip in a group of several families with children age 3-8 years old. We had a wonderful time relaxing on the island amidst beautiful scenery and friendly goats. We enjoyed exploring the island and movie set, and the kids enjoyed the playground.

The goats were delightful. Several were very friendly and climbed into our laps, and most were inquisitive and would approach for treats and petting. You shouldn't come here if you don't like goats--it is their island and you are their guest. The herd made rounds of the road around the campground and visited all the camp sites. We loved it, but those with unsecured food items should expect goats to sample them.

Campers should bring plenty of drinking water for their stay. There is a small but tidy bathroom facility with a shower stall, but all campsites are primitive.
