This is a self guided tour, you can either walk through Spectre and around the island or if you choose to stay in your vehicle, the road encircles the island so you can view most of the sites fairly well from inside your vehicle. If you enjoyed the movie Big Fish, it's definitely worth a visit, you get to literally walk through the town! Part of the forest prop is still there as well, making for an excellent photo opportunity😁
The island is beautiful and it is home to quite a few friendly goats, so even if you haven't seen the movie it's still worth a visit!
You can visit for the day or there are campsites available if you would like to stay overnight.
