I decided to go for a walk during my lunch hour and passed by this warm public space that was hidden from other open areas around Downtown. The sound of the cascade wall invited me to come inside and sit close by. I sat in one of the metal chairs and closed my eyes. I heard all types of noises around the city, but I tried to focus on the water falling. It lasted 3 minutes. But, three minutes where my mind could rest and take a break from the worries and casualties of life.
I think the place is nice, but it has room for improvement. Perhaps a couple of nice trees on the side for some shade.
Overall, it was a gracious experience.
