My wife and I spent a night here on April 9th 2021 at campsite #2.

This is a great secluded camping spot. We enjoyed our time tent camping here, and will definitely be back!

The site was very flat so we had no issues finding a good spot for the tent. There was nearby access to a trail, non-potable water pump, and trash can which was very convenient. The site itself included a picnic table, fire ring with cooking grate, and a standard charcoal stove. This site is shaded by a few beautiful oak trees; they hang low in some spots so you will need to be careful if you're parking a large RV at this site.

During tick season, make sure to bring bug spray and be prepared to remove them! We saw a bunch (~30 in 24hrs) at this spot. Of the ones I was able to identify, they were lonestar ticks, which means thankfully no Lyme Disease!

We are excited to camp here again, but next time we will probably go during Fall or Winter so we don't have to deal with the ticks.
