My family and I have been coming here for years because we have a membership. Getting a membership feels like being in a sleazy car dealership but if you camp a lot it does come in handy. This particular location is extremely hit or miss. Sometimes it's wonderful and sometimes I wish we hadn't spent so much money on the membership. For example, the water main is shut off REGULARLY. That means, no water at any site or even in the shower houses. This has happened to us at least 5 times just this year.

Though they have some of the best and most polite staff it seems like they only allow the "not so polite " staff actually converse with guests. We met 2 of the nicest staff members at the activity center one night (they were closed but still talked with my wife and I for almost a half hour) but every time after that there was a woman in there that truly hates her job or at least that's the way she comes across.

The lake is beautiful and a spectacular place to watch Disney fireworks and for the most part the park is well maintained.

Lastly, don't expect to ever get someone on the phone at the front desk. Out of the 20+ times my wife and have visited I've only talked to a human once. Recently they "updated" their phone system and now it's even worse than just getting the answering machine before.
