The GOOD: We're in a 35' fifth wheel, had ample room in our site. It was raked, clean, wide & very level. Nice privacy due to the natural trees & shrub growth between sites. Quiet, shady, clean, cute squirrels all around. Bathhouse clean & good condition. Very dark at night, no street lights - great for stargazing.
The BAD: no WiFi, 30 amp site had lowelectric voltage at times, it rained HARD overnight here & the road & some campsites were flooded. Saw a tent camper sitting in his vehicle while his tent was swallowed by a small pond in his site. Some campers woke up to water standing at their steps & around their rigs.
It receded fairly quickly in the morning but I'm sure a few campers were not happy! The rangers were out early with equipment, cleaning up the road & sites. We were fortunate that we had a slightly elevated site & no issues.
All in all, our stay was mostly uneventful & enjoyable. I would probably stay here again but I definitely would ask about runoff & ponding on the site if rain is forecasted! Especially if tent-camping!
