I was here for 3 night. I felt enjoy and relaxed. I woke up at 3 am and go to sleep around 9 pm. I can't adjust my body clock but it's not a big deal for me cuz I didn't have plans much just snorkeling and taking photos of Milky way.

I would like to review 3 things

1. Staff : everyone was very nice and friendly.

2. Room : I stayed in a 6 Bedroom House. My room was very nice, clean and a good smell. I don't know what perfume they spray but very very nice.

3. Mauna Kea Summit tour : I went in the Evening tour. My guide is Andras. He's nice, knowledgeable and friendly. I got very beautiful milky way pictures. I would recommend you to go in the Evening tour cuz you'll see the beautiful sunset, million stars and milky way (only February-October I'm not sure. Plz check with the Lodge staff). Don't forget winter jackets. It's really cold and windy. The important thing is you'll get discounts if you are the guest of Lodge.

Only one thing that I sad is they do NOT have bicycle rentals anymore.

From the Lodge It's only 5 - 10 minutes walk to 3 beaches; Keaukaha Beach Park, Chalk's Beach and Onekahakaha Beach Park.

It's only 2-3 minutes drive to Carlsmith Beach Park but if you walk it take 20 minutes.

If you like to see the sea turtle. I would recommend to go to Keaukaha Beach Park and Carlsmith Beach Park.

If you like to enjoy the weather, have a picnic and play in the water. I would recommend Onekahakaha Beach Park or Carlsmith Beach Park.

If you like snorkeling. I would recommend Carlsmith Beach Park.

For me I like Carlsmith Beach Park and Onekahakaha Beach Park.

I hope you enjoy Hilo like I do.
