What a well kept secret of a State Park. While Ft. McAllister was only involved in a small number of battles, the rebuild of the Fort is very well done. And the views from this park are fantastic. There is a museum, if you have a State Park Pass you can get in for free or a reduced rate depending on your pass, and the exhibits both inside and out are very well done.
