Interesting little place off the beaten track. Seemed to be a relic from the past where people actually came to camp and fish. Now it seems to be mainly a sparsely stocked convenience store, guitar shop (yes, you read that correctly), and kayak rental outlet. There were hints that they serve food but it was hard to tell. The boat launch and a modest fleet of well-used kayaks is a short walk across the parking lot and across the street. It's a short paddle to the actual falls and you can see them from the dock. (We didn't try it - the weather was pretty bad and they won't rent in bad weather.) We didn't see any fishing, or anything else, going on. Just one guy minding the store who seemed slightly out of place but was friendly enough and willing to answer questions. I had just spotted this place on Google maps and wanted to see what a real fish camp looked like. It was very quiet when we found it and, probably because of the foul weather, there just wasn't anything going on. Still, it was an interesting sight to see.
