We came on Thursday and stayed until Sunday. It's 4.5 miles from the main roads. It was a very quiet place. No drunken idiots anywhere. Very family friendly. Being from the "city", we worried about going into town and having someone rummage thru our stuff while we were gone. No problems like that here. Caught some Rainbow trout in the creek. Be aware of black BEARS. They like to check out camps in the early mornings around 5-6. Pick up ANY leftover food from the night before. They tried to steal one campers cooler right out of the back of his truck one morning. They run when confronted. Be very aware they are around. You are in their house after all. Bathrooms are outhouse style. They stink like most camps in the woods normally do. The pump for water works good. Filter the water. We found a little sediment in our filter system. Nothing alarming though. Sites were clean and there are bear proof trash bins nearby. Most sites have picnic tables. We didn't see much wildlife though. NO snakes thankfully. Although one camp does have a sign for them. Bring bug spray, a comfy chair and enjoy the water. We will definitely be back.
