Once you hit the gravel road it is easily a good 20-25 minutes all the way up to the top, if you go at a safe/slow rate of speed. Be wary of potholes, and blind curves. Campsites are first come, first serve and reasonably close together - no electric, no water hookups - one small outhouse that is kinda gross. Each site has a table and fire ring, along with a metal hook for hanging a lantern/light. In the spring and summer there are loads of snakes, and you have to watch out for the bright orange corn snakes who will happily swim up the creek/in the water with you. It's a beautiful place, very serene spot - no cell service for most carriers.
