Outside of peak season, we Went for the hiking, not for swimming, but those amenities are well maintained even in the off season. Main building has lots of accessible bathrooms and changing spaces, plus some small vending and a covered open meeting space. Trails are well maintained and the walk is nice. Good views of the lake and lots of access for fishing and boating. The "hike" itself is shorter, maybe a 30 minute trek for the "long" loop, but it would be great especially with kids as part of a big day out intl the summer.
