Loved the park!!!
Bit of a drive to get to it off the main road, but it's well worth it. Very nice trails to hike. Easy access from primitive site to the river, and staff were friendly. There is a nice little museum of sorts at the main building.
During our stay, we seen TONS of rabbits... mostly babies, along with several deer and a few spotted fawns along with a beaver. Tons of birds, and if you live in an area that is void of fire flies.... oh you'll be tickled pink at the thousands that light up the night sky.
With the sounds of owls in the distance, it was really a peaceful stay. I look forward to my next visit soon.
Only disappointing part... there was nobody available to rent us a boat... due to budget cuts, the boat rentals are only available a few days a week.
