Although the owner was very nice, and the location by Lake Aldred was great considering our love of kayaking, the upper roads and campsites were very tight and you are right on top of your neighbors. Our site was on a steep hill that required lots of extra blocking under the hitch, one tire, and front stabilizers just to get it level and this left the back bumper almost on the ground. The sites on the lower loops and by the playground are more spread out and the sites wider and more level.
The prices are not bad but there are little extra fees that you don't find out until you get there, such as extra money if you wish to run an air conditioner and pay showers that only give you six miles of water at a time. There is only one main shower/bathroom building and it is kept fairly clean. However, the smaller bathroom buildings that are through the campground stank so bad from a distance of 30' that I couldn't even get close enough to check them out.
They do have a nice big play area for kids but unless they are athletes, leave the bikes at home as the roads are very steep. There is also no area for swimming unless you wish to climb down a steep narrow path into the canyon that Otter Creek runs through. Not a safe swimming place for kids.
This campground served our purposes for a weekend trip but I don't think I would choose to stay longer than that. If you return I will certainly choose one of the lower wider sites.
