Beautiful park, even on a rainy winter day. My sister and I enjoy photography, and we were driving home from Havre de Grace and decided to drive through Susquehanna State Park. It was a warmish February day, and it was raining softly. Despite that, we found many beautiful things to photograph, including the mansion, The grist mill, the waterfall, and even a herd of deer. The fall leaves still blanket at the ground beneath the bare canopy of trees. We drove also to the steppingstone museum, but it wasn’t open. I very much look forward to returning to enjoy this park in other seasons. It will be worth the trip from Pennsylvania.
