Just got the MD State Park pass so I was eager to give the Greenbrier park a try. We visited on a Monday evening after work, post Labor Day, and we couldn't ask for a better evening.
We brought a small propane grill, but next time will just pack some charcoal because there were plenty of grills available - and a hot coal dumping station which is a great touch. Quite a few bees came to sample our dinner, so next time I'll bring some herbs/scents to discourage the bees or attract them away from us.
Since it was after Labor Day, we were allowed to bring our dogs which was really nice. We did a loop around the lake with a jogging stroller and our 3 month old - there were definitely a few places that were difficult to get the stroller through but it was manageable.
Absolutely a beautiful park and we will definitely be back. Can't wait to get in the water to swim, it looked so peaceful.
