Camp grounds are so much about the amenities, campers, people, and employees.
Since I only had a few days on site, I can't comment on the people, the few I met were nice and I only saw one trump sign, so that's a big plus. The site has a pool, beautiful trees, some good sized lots, and the campers all seem in good or better shape, that's the positive.
The roads are brutal and the restrooms, while clean are pretty old and the showers sometimes don't function. The power, water, and sewer connections all seem old, as the residents all know exactly where the main electrical breakers are, because there are power problems with two campers on one breaker or old breakers and the water doesn't always work.
The fees are posted and reasonable, so that's good and it's close to the beach, shopping, and Foxwoods. It's about equal distance between Boston and NYC, but quiet enough to sleep like you're in the woods. Check out the site, amenities, and neighbors before you move your camper in and I'm sure you'll be happy.
