The natural beauty of this location can't be denied. The pond, which is more like a lake, is clear and pristine. Boating, hiking, camping, and swimming are all available. They have composting toilets, but no potable water or showers. This is primitive camping.
The downside is there are no rangers present. It's supposed to be no alcohol, quiet time at 10pm, etc. It's more like Lord of the Flies. Music, fireworks, motorcycles, and general shouting lasted until 1am Friday. I know people want to have fun, but if you are assuming a non alcoholic campground means quiet (or that they don't allow alcohol) your probably going to be disappointed.
Feces and toilet paper around the campsite were disconcerting as well. They do allow pets, but my dog hasn't figured out how to wipe his butt yet, so....
I would come back, but not during prime camping season. We stayed in site 3.
