I have enjoyed Quail Creek. It’s quiet, in the beautiful country setting located at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Morgan County Alabama. The staff is friendly, where you’ll meet life long friends. There are drive through spots, campsites with concrete patios, and some with big gravel. There are fire pits, a children’s park, plenty of places to walk your dog with pet stations posted throughout the park. There’s a Chapel, a convention/ meeting center, a respectable fun golf course with very reasonable green fees, a pro shop, with a food bar, snacks, colas, all your favorite gear, etc. The laundry room is small but clean and showers are located in the same building. There is also an Inn for event visitors or people just passing through for a night or two. There is a small in ground pool which is opened during warm months. Quail Creek Campground is pet friendly, but no fenced in pet park near the campground itself. It is kid friendly, in that it has a park, and they can ride their bikes or golf carts. It’s a family friendly atmosphere. Most activities consist of sitting around the fire, visiting and laughing with friends, tail gating during the big game, picnics outside on the picnic tables. There is more gravel than grass in most sites but that’s pretty normal for most campgrounds in Alabama. I have throughly enjoyed Quail Creek Golf Resort in Falkville, Alabama. It’s less than 5 min. to Falkville or Hartselle and I-65 where food and entertainment are only minutes away. Check it out for yourself but I recommend this resort to anyone. Whether your stopping in for a nights stay or staying longer, it’s a safe choice. While your here, check out La La’s in Falkville, Lela Tyler Weeks is a Pastry Chef, formerly on staff at Walt Disney World Florida, she has finally come home and lucky for us.
