One of the best car camping experiences I’ve had. Sites were very clean and had well maintained stable picnic tables and convenient bear boxes. The communal fire pit was a welcomed surprise saving trouble of starting your own fire or providing own wood while socializing with fellow campers. Staff was super friendly too going above and beyond to help me retrieve a forgotten item outside of regular office hours. Highly recommend as part of anyone’s Gunks experience.
