This campground is very different on the weekend compared to during the week. I was here from Tuesday to Thursday and only 12 of the 120 spaces were occupied. The staff were super friendly, the showers warm, everything was lovely.
For the weekends, all the spots are booked out weeks in advance. If you want a semblance of solitude on those days, I suggest getting a spot on the "W" drive, which is slightly secluded.
There are warm showers, potable water, electricity only in the bathrooms. Bear boxes available for every site. The main drives (with the platform spots) are all clustered together. There is a beach next to the campground, with a small segment reserved for the campground. Earliest check-in is 3pm, you have to be gone by 11am.
