If you’re looking for an amazing RV resort in the Durango area, look no further. My family of four has stayed at approximately 20 RV parks in the last year across the US, including some very high-end ones, and Durango Ranch RV Resort is among the best in the country. The couple who own the place (Tanner & Tori) have local roots back to the 1890s, and they take great pride in ensuring that guests to their park, and to their town, have a wonderful experience. Upon arriving at closing time, Tanner still took great interest in sharing tips about the area and not rushing us through check-in. At this writing, the place has only operated for two seasons. Everything feels brand new. The restrooms were as clean as any at the Four Seasons. There is not a speck of dirt on the building housing the common areas. The laundry room (disgusting at most places) was immaculate. Tori was even kind enough to loan us a roll of quarters so that we could finish a couple loads without having to drive to town to make change. Our site was clean and level. They have two water spigots per site, which is so helpful for running another hose or flush line. These owners have thought of everything. Even my dog loved the place; we’ve never seen him so excited about a dog run area. Please support these folks with your business if you’re in the area!
