This spot is amazing. It is very rural. It is a 5-mile dirt road, one way, to get to the campground. And that turn off is from the paved La Sal mountain Scenic byway Loop from a Moab Utah. Does have volt toilets. Is dry camping. Has a small lake. The lake is too small too boat or kayak in. Is in a beautiful birtch tree Forest. The campground is small, and the dirt road is maintained. For camping, I am unsure if there is a water source. If going research that first. We visited nearby dead horse state park. Which also allows dogs. And their camping, just like Canyonlands, is mainly on open grounds. Which can be windy in our desert environment. This Campground is tucked in a forest. And very quaint. Consider avoiding congested National local parks and research this spot.
