We stayed a couple of nights to start our spring break week. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. Bathrooms were also very clean. Older, but clean. Our loop didn't have very many campers during our stay. All sites have electric and water hookups but no sewer. I'm pretty sure all of the Federal campgrounds (at least in this area) do not have sewer hookups, although there IS a dump station close to the entrance by the garbage dumpsters.

There are three loops, each with its own bathhouse and fishing pier. All are connected by trails. There is also a small playground by the check-in station, as well as pavilions and a basketball/volleyball court. The Whitten Center is a nice feature, with informative plaques and pictures detailing the Tenn Tom Waterway, Army Corps of Engineers, and other aspects of the region.

This is a beautiful location. All loops are on ridges, well above the water level, so the sites with flat areas around the concrete pads are great for tent camping. We set up our 20'x20' tent on Site #24 and had plenty of room. That or Site #25 will most likely be our go to spots for tent camping in the future.

There is a restaurant just down the road by the marina, Guy's Place. I've never been, but I've heard great things about it so it will be on our list for the next trip.

This campground is definitely worth looking at!
