This is a Core of Engineers park right next to the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway. You can watch barges going by from the water view sites and from walkways, paths, and docks. The camphosts were so nice and friendly here. They recommended a local eatery nearby called Guy's Place on water dining which, while the temp was very hot inside the restaurant, provided a nice meal with good views. We have had 2 pull-through sites here - #9 and #46. While #46 is a large, very private stand alone site away from the water; #9 is a buddy site closer to the water with a path to a dock. We like both sites and our 40' class A motorhome towing a Jeep Wrangler fit just fine. It would not have been as nice if the buddy site (8/9) had another camper there with us. The park is an easy drive off I-22 not far from Tupelo to get to this park. We hope to return here sometime.
