My husband and I drove almost 6 hours to get to this KOA and immediately had to find somewhere else to stay, because our tent site was essentially part of the playground. There were several children playing on the actual campsite itself, which shows how poorly situated that site is. It posed potential issues with both my dogs and my belongings. Additionally, the view from the tent sites is the backside of a rundown hotel.
We booked the site for 2 nights, and the front desk representative was nice enough to refund the second night after stating no other sites were available. However she was not able to refund not first night. We did not end up staying here at all due to the poor placement of the site.
I highly suggest that this KOA change the layout of that site in particular.
