Campsite #55 was a tiny patch of barren dirt with absolutely no privacy. They pack you in very tight at this campground - sardines come to mind. They did provide a picnic table, so we had THAT going for us.
Further, when they put you in a campsite immediately across from the horse stable, you're gonna smell horse poop for your entire stay. We did. Horse poop attracts flies. The same flies kept visiting us during our stay. At one point we made the mistake of leaving our vehicle windows open during the day. Our truck later was filled with flies when we got in to leave for town.
The stable help had a daily habit of bringing the horses across the road right next to our campground to wash them down. Nothing like watching a horse getting a bath just a few feet from you while you are eating your dinner.
Oh, and we paid $75/day for the privilege of experiencing all of the above.
