Road to campground is 9 miles off the paved road. The first 7 is oiled road base, the last 2 is gravel. Honestly, the road is in way better condition than I70.

Campground is beautiful. Cash needed to pay the $16/night fee. Vault toilets are clean. 21 sites. About 6 are pull throughs. Another 6ish are walk-in tent sites. Spot 11 is a pull through with the only true river front for an RV. Currently it isn’t available bc the river has cut out under the fire pit. Spot 17 is also a pull through with the best views of the cliffs and good shade. Lots of flys and mosquitoes so bring your deet. Also saw one tick. No firewood for sale.
