This is a nice little fishing location just a short walk from the nearby Dexter campground. There are two methods to get here either walking the shoreline from Dexter, or parking up top, and then traversing through some moderately dense foliage, that looks like is in what used to be the old water level of the lake, and it resembles a sandy beach with lake grass deposits throughout. Once you break out of the thick foliage however it opens into a beautiful shoreline with several different fishing aspects from rock outcroppings to what looks like a deep trench that runs off from the shoreline. The shoreline itself is very very loose sand, so I recommend some high walled shoes, boots, or caution as it was easy to sink down in, or lose your footing if traversing through the rocks, which some of them made from good places to sit as some are large. Overall this was an enjoyable spot, with decently calm water being away from the boat ramp with exceptional views of the lake.
