This was our second time staying at the Pikes Peak Ranch. The property is beautiful and secluded. Be prepared with four wheel drive and printed map if the weather is poor. The road is well maintained but is a mountain dirt road. You will likely have no Internet service or GPS. You will be rewarded with amazing views of the mountains and local wild life without the resort feel. The cabins are excellently maintained with just about everything you could imagine! You likely won't be able to fit all the activities that you have planned because you will just want to relax in you cabin. We enjoyed both the Eagles Nest and Bear Den cabins. The Bears Den was our favorite.
