Beautiful set of campsites along the river, with easy water access. Pit toilets on site, and not too far a drive from Almont for supplies/dining, or as a jumping off point to Taylor Reservoir or rock climbing.
Be warned, as it is in a canyon, that you won't get a lot of sun throughout the day. This means cold, icy winters, but great respite from the hot summers in the surrounding elevations. (We stayed here one August after fleeing scorching, baked earth of Utah's lower parks on our way back to Denver - camping trip saved!)
