Let me start by saying this campground has an absolutely amazing location with a lot to offer... MTB Trails, hiking, the creek, and close to town... HOWEVER...The host destroys the entire experience - as you will see by the majority of the reviews in the last year. As such, despite having the best offerings as well located convenient for our friends house down the street we will never stay here again.

It starts off with an overstep the moment you park. I had barely gotten out of my vehicle by the time she was mentally inventorying my equipment from bikes to generator... All of which she pointed out during the only "camper orientation" (lasting 5-7 minutes mind you) in which she "teaches" you about the rules of the USDA Forest Service including two "hand-outs" that I have ever experienced in years of camping. She awkwardly waits for your undivided attention... so you may not begin to set up while listening... She will just wait while making the situation even more uncomfortable than it sounds. Meanwhile the dogs are ready to get out of the car from a multi-hour drive.

Throughout the stay, what clearly appeared to be fabricated complaints about our whisper quiet generator continued to demonstrate her overreach. When she confronted both me and my partner on separate occasions we both replied with the generator was well below the requirements as required for use in the campground, under 60dB - of which is significantly higher than ours emits. You can barely hear it 30 ft away.

Because of the awkward encounters and continued obsessive like behaviors we will never return and will warn our local friends to have other guests avoid a horrible experience in a quiet and beautiful campground... There are 2-3 other similar campgrounds within 5 or so miles... I suggest those!
