Love camping here every year. It's right next to the Poudre River. Has a variety of sites for tents and rv's. Some electric hook-ups. Has paid showers, clean restrooms, nice group area.
I particularly like the hiking trail...I think it's called McConnell? It begins moderate but is more difficult towards the top. Mid-way up there is an opportunity to take a more primitive trail. I've done that one before but it's not often hiked, there is a lot of overgrowth, and it's sometimes difficult to find the trail. You can also hike the 'easier' trail as a loop, but I prefer the up and back as the loop trail is more primitive, and I am easily lost. Lol
