Best family camping spot in Poudre Canyon, hands down! They have nice easy hikes for all ages, there are showers, there's a playground, great spots for fishing and tubing, great little watering holes on the west side of the camp, and the campground directors are always Beyond kind! I seriously love this place and Hiking Mount McConnell was the first place I hiked when I moved to Fort Collins in 1997! Great views from the top! Great hikes for kids and great trails for trail runners! Only downside is you have to book your camping trip in November otherwise it's always booked up by then.
