You can tell the staff really love this campground and want you to have a great experience. This location has less amenities than other KOAs we have been to, but it makes up for it with location and hospitality. There is a ton to do nearby and the area is stunning. An elk came right up next to our cabin and we saw an eagle flying over the dam across the street. There were a few scheduled activities at the campground while we were there and the staff did a great job of making sure everyone knew so we could be involved.

We stayed in a cabin and it was very well kept along with the bathrooms and laundry/dishwashing room. The RV spots seemed more basic than usual but we didn’t use those so I can’t confirm that experience. Some spots had better views than others but honestly you can’t have a bad view here. You are surrounded by mountains.

The only real negative thing I could find was that I didn’t realize there was a dam right across the street, blocking the lake view for some areas of the camp. But my husband loves dams and he thought it was cool having a view of the dam 🤷‍♀️

Overall we had a wonderful time. We stayed four nights and it didn’t feel long enough. We will definitely be back
