Went sledding towards the end of February. There was still lots of snow despite warmer temps in surrounding area. Buy a sno-park permit beforehand (we bought one at the Ranch & Home in Milton-Freewater).
Large parking lot off the side of the road that can probably hold a few hundred cars. The sledding area is a short walk (quarter mile) from the parking lot and is marked with a sign. There are two sides to the sledding area, one side is a little smaller and the other side is much taller for some extra speed.
