It is a peaceful place. 3 loops of campsites, one under thicker trees, the other under lighter trees. The lighter ones provide a great view of the low light pollution night sky. The thiker tree ones had better shade from the sun.. Many stars visible on a clear night. The restrooms are pit toilets, but seemed pretty clean. Some sites were far apart and had privacy, some close together. We heard owls hooting, and elk bugging in the distance in the night and early morning.
