Cabins look cute from the outside, inside looks rather dated.
The layout is not functional, like a relic from the 50s.
No personnel on site after 5 PM.
Website does not show details such as layouts, pricing, etc.
Poorly fitting doors. Bathroom door had to be lifted and forced to close. Entry door had a 1/2 inch gap.
There were also gaps in the exterior walls between the log ends. Not good with outside temps at or below 0.
Bath tub spigot was too short to properly drain into the tub.
Shower head sprayed more water onto the walls and curtain than on the person taking a shower. Had an upstairs unit and even though the stairs had been cleared somewhat and salted, it didn't feel safe going up and down.
No doormat inside to wipe our feet, so by the time we had moved in our stuff, there were salt granules all over the living area with no broom available to clean up.
There was long black hair in the bathtub and inside some of the towels.
Setting up the TV to work took a lengthy procedure that we had to figure out.
Got about 4 to 6 inches of snow during our 2 night stay with no plowing or clearing said snow.
Could be a nice place if it was a bit modernized and better maintained.
Place was ice cold when we arrived and took about 2 hours to warm up with the fireplace at the highest setting, after that it was comfortable despite the gaps in the door and walls.
Location is good and we spent somewhat less than we would have at one of the nearby hotels.
Not very likely I'll stay there again.
