Nice campground, pretty area. Mainly first come first serve camping not reservation. Even on a Friday night they had multiple spots open to choose from. Tons of birds including a multitude of friendly little hummingbirds. The campground host was lovely, they sell wood as a nice bonus. Most spots are fairly small and close together, little to no grass, mainly gravel. However there is a lot of thick foliage that blocks the sites from each other visually which is nice. The restrooms are kept very clean.
Be careful if you are camping with a single car however, despite the campground being advertised as $20 a night at the entrance, a lot of the spots are supposed to be double or triple sites, even though they are small, and they will charge you $40 or $60 a night despite only having one vehicle. This is great if you are camping in groups and need spots for multiple vehicles, but not if you are one family and select the wrong spot (they are all not well marked).
Overall decent spot for camping, close to a decent hiking trail next to a creek as well as part of the reservoir with access for camping, swimming, paddle boarding etc.
