We stayed in tent sites 6&7. Beautiful scenery and lovely shade. Nice grass. Good spot if you just want to sit and enjoy company, or play yard games.
Kids were disappointed that getting in the river, 10 feet from tent site, is prohibited because Mary’s campground doesn’t carry insurance for it. Especially upsetting because KOA guests (directly across from us) are paddling around this very calm spot in the river.
Three stars instead of five for inability to enter the river at tent site, and also for the lack of parking by the tent site. Very inconvenient to have to put all supplies in tent every night and hike up long hill to get to vehicle and bathrooms.
Bathrooms are about the same quality as your average old park restrooms with concrete floors, and cracked toilets.
