We stayed there back in July. It was ok, but the campsite was rated as 'tent' friendly, but it was not in our opinion. Our tent was on large gravel, and made it very uncomfortable.

There was also very little shade, for the majority of the day our table, fire pit and tent were in direct sunlight which made it hot.

The saving grace was the campground hosts were very friendly and told us about a lake, Blue Lake, which is a nice 1 mile hike, probably about 1.5 if you walk to the opposite side of the lake, and it was very beautiful with lots of wild flowers along the way. The road to get there is mostly gravel and dusty but worth it.
