Okay, if you've never been here, there's no shade. It's an oasis reservoir in the middle of the dry foot hills, with only a few trees near the north shore. It's a bit of a dust bowl. It's great for boats, or jet skis but for paddling and relaxing with the family I wouldn't go. The water levels seem to drop quickly, as well.
