Nice spot. We took a very SMALL TRAILER on the forest roads up. Not much trouble at all. Maybe the work had been done to prepare for Obviously a lot of work is done to keep the roads sound. Still, there were some deep potholes. (We went up from Beaver, and the forest road was about 14 miles, pretty steep and hilly.)

It was busy because of a holiday weekend, and the cluster of camp sights right by the lake were full. We weren't there to make new friends, so we camped at a drive-out spot that we saw on the way up.

There are plenty of these drive offs, and plenty of places for "dispersed" camping.

The lake is more like a POND. It's very small. Lots of people fish this pond and lots of people take little boats, canoes out on it. The pond is well-stocked, judging from the regularity with which people pulled fish despite the paddling boats in the nearby area.

We used an inflatable raft, and a couple of times I was worried about the branches from sunken timber.

We're looking forward to going back when it's not a holiday weekend.
