The lake is a little busy for the intensity of the drive up the mountain. The last few miles are gravel road — be ready for bumps!
The lake itself is teaming with life. Fish, craw dads, newts, and all other sorts of critters are all around. The water is crystal clear, and the area has plenty of logging roads to explore.
One pit toilet was near the lake. There was also an abandoned car that seemed like it had been there for a bit.
