Only stayed for one night in early July, but it seemed like a nice campground. We stayed in site 078 and tent-camped, and we felt like we had plenty of space around us, not too close to other campsites. The access to the water has an abrupt eroding edge, but there are warning signs. It was only a little difficult getting our paddle boards to the water. There isn't really much of a beach at this campground when Lake Cascade water is high. I'm not sure why, but all of the trash receptacles are on the north side of the campground, none on the south side where I camped. There are two restroom areas with at least two vault toilets each - one on the south side and one in the center of the grounds. I only used one of them, but it seemed clean enough. The campground is very green, kind of park-like. I would stay here again, but would prefer staying for more than one night. However, it was really difficult to find an available night online to reserve, let alone two or three nights together. So you have to book early in the season; I booked in June.
