a very nice picturesque campground. Paved roads and gravel sites . It pays to get a campsite here for your RV and take your tow vehicle to the top which is a very steep and winding climb. For $5 they have a dump station and freshwater available. R spot to fill your RV with water is just past the dump station where you will find a hose attachment to hook up to. Camp sites are nicely spread out. If you like to kayak there is a wonderful kayak ride nearby. You launch 7 mi upstream from Lewis and Clark at Cardwell fishing access site, and finish where route 287 crosses the river. 14 mi ride, took me 4 hours and 15 minutes with a nice current helping out. No real rapids just some riffles. Very picturesque. I brought my e-bike from the campground to the caverns and had no problem but it would be somewhat difficult without an e-bike. It's about an 8% Hill.
