I had to stop here to get a day pass to go through the park cute little park until you get to one area of it there was no close gate there was no railing going across the road to tell you you could not go in that area and the area was to the beach and boat dock well I stopped to read the historic sign inside that area where the boat dock and Beach was and I had a gentleman walk up to me and tell me the areas closed and I said there's nothing to say that he says there's signs I said the signs are over in the grass they're not blocking the road The gate was wide open and you can see by the pictures that I have included that indeed the area closed signs were over off the road in the grassy area and that the main gate down that road was wide open The employees there are just plain rude I have never ran into a state park that 95% of them are rude and I didn't understand that there was no need for it All I was doing was driving through taking a look and stop dorita historic sign about wide beach was named after who it was and it was quite interesting to learn the historic part of it it dealt with the first the gentleman that created the first bottling plants for Coca-Cola in that area so that's kind of historic and my opinion It should require a moment of reading and if you don't want somebody down there put today on gate up or put the road closed sign out there that blocks the road!!!
